I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as part of the Laboratory for Cosmological Data Mining, headed by Robert Brunner. The appointment is from 2004-2009, and, from 2004-7, was joint with the National Center for Supercomputing Applications. The work involves knowledge discovery in the terascale datasets provided by modern sky surveys, for example, galaxies and quasars within the Sloan Digital Sky Survey.
