Geology

For my undergraduate degree (1997-2000) I did Cambridge's BA Natural Sciences, ending up specialising in geophysics. Research in it wasn't for me, hence the MSc. But the planetary science was interesting. And the mapping project in Montana wasn't bad either (because it wasn't all mapping)!

In fact I did:

1st year    -    Geology, Materials and Mineral Sciences, Maths for Natural Sciences, Physics (25% each)
2nd year    -    Geological Sciences A, Geological Sciences B, Physics (1/3 each)

3rd year:

Core options: Geophysics, Mineralogy
Option options: Basin Dynamics, Mantle Minerals
Literature review: Do Europa and Callisto Have Subsurface Oceans?
Mapping Project: The Geology of the Ford Creek and Wood Canyon Area, Northwest Montana, USA
